FAQ

How can I feed Royal Canin food to my pet?

First, when introducing new food to your pet’s diet, make a gradual transition. We recommend you do a transition phase of seven days to avoid dietary issues. Mix a portion of the new food with your pet's current food, gradually increasing the ratio every three days until your pet is fully adapted.

Feed Royal Canin Gastrointestinal Cat for one to two weeks during periods of and recovery from acute diarrhea until restoration.

Make sure your pet always has fresh water available. For better results, you can combine the dry food with the Royal Canin Gastrointestinal wet cat food, which you can feed separately or in the same bowl.

Nevertheless, before use and for further guidance, speak to your vet and follow their advice.

Can I give Royal Canin Veterinary Gastrointestinal to cats of any age, size, and condition?

This food is recommended for adult cats with acute and chronic diarrhea, gastritis, colitis, maldigestion/ malabsorption, anorexia, and re-feeding after surgery.

However, it’s not recommended for lymphangiectasia and exudative enteropathy, in which cases you should opt for Royal Canin Gastrointestinal Moderate Calorie Cat.
